Corringle
Corringle Slips is situated at the mouth of the Snowy River Estuary and offers a relaxing destination for the fisherperson or nature lover.

It is 18km south of Newmerella and approximately a half hour drive from Marlo.
To get to Corringle, turn off the Princess Hwy at Newmerella along Corringle Road.

A slipway (above) is an inclined plane or ramp serving as a landing place for vessels to be built or repaired.
The slips were built by Samuel Richardson and sons.
The slips were washed away in the 1893 floods and reassembled by Martin Jorgensen.

In the late 1890's, Corringle was a thriving rural community.
Today Corringle is popular for camping, fishing, beach walks and bird wathing.

Corringle Slips offers spectacular bush camping in a natural setting close to the beach and estuary.

Camping fees apply all year round and can be paid on site.
During peak holiday periods, advance bookings selected by ballot are necessary.
